Sebastopol Center for the Arts
What happens when art becomes a form of resistance?
Join us for a series of powerful community events presented alongside our Resist & Persist exhibition.
🎤 First, join us on July 10 for a panel discussion featuring Sonoma County artists Alina Neubel, Pam Van Halsema,  Edilia Mendez, and activist Robin Latham as they explore the intersection of creativity, advocacy, and social change.
🎶 Then on July 17 from 6–8 PM, poet Shawna Swetech hosts When Voices Rise: Songs and Poems of Resistance, an evening featuring the powerful words of local poets and songs from the Harmony Choir.
Together, these events celebrate the role of art in activism and the power of personal and collective voices to inspire change.
