How you behave in the drought will be how you are remembered in the harvest.

Although much has been taken from us or at least made scarce, one thing has not and that is our freedom of speech.

I would never tell an adult what to say or not to say. Their words are theirs and their opinions are theirs. However, as with any severe stress point, it can bring out the best and the worst in us.

Amazing humans have stepped up and shown us what it really looks like to be a servant leader, to offer up your life, even if done in segments of time, an offering nonetheless.

Others have decided to criticize those trying to make that next best decision. You are free to challenge, complain and point fingers. That is your right. Just remember when this is all behind us, you will be remember for your words, actions or lack thereof.

We will get through this. We are getting through this.
We will be better for it. The opportunity is already here.
We will eat, drink and be merry again. Some have already found a way (digitally).

Until then, may you see the opportunities that lay before you. Even if it's only to offer a kind word of encouragement to those who can’t.
