The lethal Hand Registry Is Bu****it!!!

If someone tells me that they know someone who's a martial arts black belt and that person had to registered their hands as lethal weapons. That tells me several things but three things right off the bat and prompts me to ask one question.

Number one. It tells me that the person that I'm am talking to probably doesn't know anything whatsoever about martial arts or the body's who govern them period.

Number two. I tells me that whoever it is that they're talking about is a resident of Guam or. They are so full of s**t that there's a 98% chance they're probably not even a martial artist at all yet alone a Black Belt but it's possibly that they might have briefly been a white belt at some point in time in their lives probably when they were still a child.

Number three. It tells me that the people who are quick to buy into the nonsense must be the type of people who are still living in the stone age so they believe everything that they hear without question because they must have never heard anything about google. Because if they had surely they would have thought to look that up before they went spreading.

I make no claims of being a martial artist. The main extent of my official martial arts training was 7 months of Full contact Chinese Sanda Kickboxing and 5 months of traditional Judo back in 2015. I invested the time, sweat, effort, and money to train for those months so even though I no longer train in those art's I have the right to say that I trained in them for the time that I trained in them because that is the truth non exaggerated truth. During the time that I trained in those martial arts I also participated in the 10 week Online Course of a very prestigious Self-defense Academy and completed all ten weeks of it. This course was not cheap because this Self Defense Academy is one of top in the world it was started by a cop who had lived through many real world situations and has many accolades If I could have participated in the in person class I would have but. At the time the nearest open class was 200+ miles away from where I lived and at the time with the full-time job I had I didn't have the luxury to make it to the in person classes I barely had to make it to make it to kickboxing and judo right after got off work I'd jump in the shower grab my gear and drive 70+ miles round trip. So driving almost 200 miles round trip wasn't an option at the time. So I spoke with a acquaintance who had participated in the 10 week online course and they assured me that it was 100% legit so. I went ahead and took the plunge. I trained in Sanda Kickboxing two nights a week every week and then I Trained in Judo two nights a week every week. And then every night I participated in this online Self Defense Academy for 10 weeks solid that consisted of watching so many videos and then testing for 10 weeks I completed those 10 weeks and graduated the course. And that is when I fully realized that Martial Art wasn't my passion Self Defense was my passion. I found a course that I could get certified as a self defense instructor And from 2016 to present I have been training in my own method of Self Defense Called CRF. Unfortunately in the rural area that I live in Self Defense is something that is hard to sell because. The of majority of the population either has been fortunate enough to not have been involved in a situation that gave them a healthy fear or. They have convinced themselves that a gun is self defense and also the answer to every question regardless if they never actually really train with guns beyond mostly just shooting for recreation at targets that aren't moving. They have convinced themselves that just owning a gun is going to protect them from evil even if it's locked tightly away somewhere nobody could ever hope to access it quickly. The majority of people l around here haven't even stopped to even considered how heavy the consequences are when you're reliant on a gun.

So many people pick up guns everyday without ever even pausing to consider the weight.

I've said it a thousand times before. I'm not a gun guy. I don't love gun's and I would not be at all sad if one day all gun's magically disappeared from the world. The only reason I continue to grow my own arsenal of gun's is for 2 reasons. Reason number 1 because bad guys have guns. And reason number 2 because there are people out there who walk around with the mindset that a gun is the answer to every questions. Kyle Rittenhouse unfortunately if a very good example of this. As much as I want the boy to go free and I hope that he does. I still can't bring myself to agree with the majority of his actions. I am not gun reliant. I do not believe a gun is the answer to every question. As a self-defense practitioner going on 10 years a gun is still my last resort not ever my first because if I am ever forced to have to introduce lethal force into a situation it's because I exhausted every other option and lethal force was absolutely necessary. So many people pick up guns everyday without ever even pausing to consider the weight. A gun is a heavy thing that carries heavy consequences.
