I'm sad to share that our beloved Furever Foster, Daisy Mae, has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She came to GBRR in 2012 when a local friend alerted us that Daisy (Macy originally) was living in a closet. The friend convinced Macy's person to relinquish her to GBRR. At first, Macy was extremely shy and scared, but she went into foster care with Karen, one of our foster moms. Karen took care of Macy until 2020, when Macy moved in with Furever Foster, Aimee. Over the years, due to health reasons, Macy (renamed Daisy Mae) had one and then the other eye removed. She still lived an amazing, happy and full life with Aimee, in spite of her blindness. She was truly loved, and we are forever grateful to Karen and Aimee for giving this girl her best life!

Flashy is doing great in her new loving home!!
