Back-to-School Supply Drive!

The Seguin Police Department and Seguin Fire Department are proud to partner with the Seguin Housing Authority to help sponsor this year's Back-to-School Bash!

We're collecting clear backpacks and new school supplies to help local students start the school year with everything they need to succeed.

Donation Deadline is August 6, 2025.

Every backpack, notebook, pencil, and box of crayons can make a difference in a child's life. Let's come together as a community and help make this year's Back-to-School Bash a success!

During the Tuesday, July 7 Seguin City Council meeting, Mayor Donna Dodgen presented Walter Meriwether with the Distinguished Citizen Award.

Walter received the award for completing all 3 citizen academies offered by the City of Seguin - including the Citizens Police Academy, the Citizens Fire Academy and the Citizens Univer"City".
