Welcome to Seguin Texas — where the city people are friendly, the heat feels personal, and everybody believes their hometown has the best barbecue in the universe. And Seguin does have a few! And one very special one! 🤠🔥
We speak 4 languages: English. Southern sarcasm. “Howdy.” And aggressive state pride. 🏆
“Y’all” is singular, plural, and occasionally a complete emotional support system.
“A little drive” somehow means only 30 minutes within two Buc-ee’s stops.
And if somebody says “it’s not that hot,” it’s already 110 degrees and the steering wheel is actively melting skin. ☀️ Just go sit downtown by the fountain or hit the wave pool. But don't forget to put your jeans and boots on an attend the Fair the 2nd weekend in October!
Meanwhile:
• everybody on I-10 drives like they’re qualifying for NASCAR
• construction season lasts longer than some marriages
• and somebody’s uncle is outside grilling brisket during a heat advisory saying: “Beautiful weather today.” 🍔
Welcome to Seguin Texas — where the trucks are gigantic, watch for those in the Fair parade, the weather has anger issues, but not during the Fair and state pride starts basically at birth.
