Saints Virtual Academy and Alternative Learning Center

It is one thing to encourage students and engage them in discussions about making informed decisions. It is even more effective when their peers share their personal experiences and the consequences of poor decision-making. I am proud of these young men.

Selma City Schools' Alternative Learning Center is expanding its offerings. 🎉🎉🎉

The Rise and Recovery Program has been incorporated into the Alternative Learning Center. Students who are at least two grades behind will be enrolled and provided with wrap-around services, including Family Support.

Students will work in a small setting, complete assignments provided by a middle or high school teacher, and graduate with their cohort.

We are committed to ensuring every student achieves success.

The Alternative Learning Center extends its condolences to the family of Mark Myles. He was truly valuable to the students and staff. Always available when you needed him. He would call and ask “Dr. K….you good”. You will certainly be missed.
