We see bears at BOTH of our properties, and always tell guests to stay “bear aware”. We have rules and recommendations on the fridge to keep both guests and our beloved black bears safe from harm. 🐻🖤 Lots of people travel to the Smokies specifically to see the bears, so get your next trip planned soon!

It is officially April and bear activity is increasing every day. Stay 50 yards (150ft) away from wildlife. Follow the speed limit to avoid injuring or killing wildlife crossing roads. Respect their distance; bears are wild animals and the park is their home. If you wish to take a photo remain inside your car and do not block traffic.
