Happy Valentines Day!!

I feel like I was definitely born with a love for horses...

But it was my grandfather who helped nurture that in me.

He got me this little pony when I was really young. She was mean and ornery and always had burrs stuck all in her mane. (I’m pretty sure the neighbor gave her to him😂)

Her name was Dixie and I thought she was the most amazing thing ever.

I remember him telling me that I had to learn to ride her before I could ride his bigger quarter horses. So I learned quick!

My grandpa was tough as nails. His brand was “Tough Cowboy” and he was definitely someone you didn’t want to cross.

But him and I had a special connection.

It’s one that has shaped who I am today and I couldn’t be more grateful.

He inspires what I do everyday in so many ways. ❤️
