Today, I had the privilege of attending the Sevier County Veterans Day Program, a heartfelt tribute to the men and women who have served our country. It was an inspiring ceremony filled with gratitude, reflection, and community pride.

A special shoutout to my amazing sister- a proud veteran- whose strength, courage, and dedication make me so proud every single day.

And, thank you to every veteran and active service member- today and always, we honor you.

Grateful to stand alongside this outstanding group who made our 11th Annual Sevier County Juvenile Court CLE a success!

Thank you to everyone who contributed their time and expertise to provide quality continuing legal education for attorneys and court staff dedicated to serving children and families in our juvenile court system. Special thanks to Pathways Church for hosting us and providing such a welcoming venue. Your commitment makes a real difference.

Great to see the Sevierville Police Department out at Texas Roadhouse today connecting with our community! Events like this—where officers take time to play games with kids and build relationships—remind us why community engagement matters so much. These moments strengthen the trust and bonds that make our community safer and stronger. Thank you to Officers Rebecca Cowan and Michael Maddron for their dedication both on and off duty!

It was truly a blessing to see everyone show up and show out at our Kickoff! Your presence, encouragement, and shared vision for justice in Sevier County mean everything to me. From longtime friends to new neighbors, from fellow community leaders to concerned citizens - each of you contribute to the strength of our community.

I’m excited to announce my candidacy to be retained as your General Sessions Judge for Division I. Serving in this role for the past year has been an absolute honor, and I have worked hard every day to live up to the trust you have placed in me. In my time on the bench, I have focused on ensuring that the Court is fair, firm, and effective. Fair in ensuring everyone is treated equally, firm in justice and accountability, and effective through efficiency. We have, and will continue to, support programs that address the root causes of substance abuse and crime while ensuring our community’s safety is of paramount concern. We have also implemented changes to increase the efficient operation of our courts, making certain that our community’s resources are used effectively. I'm committed to preserving this forward momentum while embracing new opportunities to better serve Sevier County's evolving needs. I respectfully ask for your prayers, support, and vote in 2026.
