Celebrating 10 Years of Hospitality in Uniontown 🎉

This month marks a major milestone for the Hilton Garden Inn Uniontown, celebrating 10 years of welcoming guests, creating memorable experiences, and supporting Fayette County’s local economy. Since officially opening in 2016, this 119-room hotel has grown into a trusted destination for business travelers, wedding guests, conference attendees, and community gatherings, offering 2,400 square feet of flexible meeting and event space and a welcoming place to stay, meet, and celebrate. The hotel’s innovative ICF construction was designed for a quieter, more energy-efficient guest experience and was one of the first in the Pittsburgh region to use this advanced method.

Over the past decade, Hilton Garden Inn Uniontown has proudly remained rooted in the community, employing local residents and continuing to support local partnerships through active involvement with the Fayette Chamber of Commerce and GO Laurel Highlands Visitors Bureau. In fact, General Manager Kathi Rabbitt proudly serves as President of the Chamber’s Executive Committee Board.

Looking ahead, the hotel will undergo a comprehensive refresh in 2027, once again in partnership with original contractors Fairchance Construction. Prospera Hospitality is honored to be a part of this establishment that faithfully serves its community with excellence 🏆

Angela Stewart began her Hilton career at the Hilton Austin Airport in 2013 as a Housekeeper in our Rooms Department. Over the years, she has embraced new challenges and grown through multiple roles—from Front Desk Agent to Accounting Clerk. She now proudly serves as our Express Sales Manager 👏

Angela’s professionalism, thoughtfulness, and natural passion for excellence shine through in everything she does. Her dedication and growth are an inspiration to us all, and we could not be more proud to have her on our team ❤️

For more than two decades, Erin Flaherty has been a shining example of dedication and excellence in the hospitality industry. Beginning her career in Human Resources before moving into Catering Sales, Erin’s journey has been defined by passion, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction.

While at the DoubleTree Monroeville, Erin’s leadership as Director of Catering helped elevate countless corporate and social events. In March 2024, she brought her talents to the DoubleTree by Hilton Pittsburgh Green Tree as Assistant Director of Catering, where she now oversees major conventions. Her expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence ensure every event runs seamlessly from start to finish.

Today we're recognizing Ernest, Restaurant Supervisor at the Hilton Austin Airport.

Ernest joined our team 13 years ago as a Banquet Houseman and has steadily grown into his current role, consistently going above and beyond for our team and our guests.

He is instrumental in elevating our service standards and his attention to detail often receives recognition from our guests. He currently leads the race in our “Catch Me at My Best” program, a testament to his outstanding guest service and positive attitude.
