It's time to announce the recipient of our first-ever Community Builder Fund, which awards $4,000 to non-profit projects or causes designed to enhance the Shakopee community and surrounding area.

We're thrilled to announce Southern Valley Alliance (SVA) as this year's $3,000 winner for the work they are doing to assist victims of domestic violence and end domestic violence in the local community.

The Shakopee community has also voted Southern Valley Alliance as their fan favorite and winner of an additional $1,000!

SVA has purchased a property in Shakopee that is close to the government center, courts and law enforcement for their future headquarters which will help them further their mission and offer support in the Shakopee community.
