Strive is a mentoring program supported by the Shakopee Rotary Club for Shakopee High School seniors.

Today the Shakopee Rotary Club welcomed and recognized this year’s 10 scholarship recipients at their lunch meeting at Dangerfield’s. Emma Sinnen(most improved GPA), Caleb Erickson, Kadija Ali, Ridwan Abdirahman, Kufah Mursal, Jaxson Brier, Tony Truong, Abigail Boateng, Avelina Khadzhi, and Aderi Okumu will each receive a $1000 scholarship for their participation in STRIVE. Congratulations to all!

Shakopee Valley News has published the names of the 2019-20 STRIVE scholarship award recipients. Here is the link to the newspaper article:

One name was left off in error. Alyssa Hillesheim was not included but a correction is being sent to the newspaper for next week's printing.
