Help Needed

Currently we are delivering pizzas donated by Pizza West each week and excess food from Knubs Pub to 3 locations in Wyandotte County. This translates into about 2,635 meals each month.

This may sound impressive but the fact, however, is that there are about 36,000 people in Wyandotte County alone who have no idea where their next meal is coming from and about 10,000 are children, (ages 0-17). In order to keep these children fed 3 meals a day for one month we need to deliver 915,000 meals each month, and this is just to feed the children. If we add their families, it’s an incredible 3,294,000 meals each month. We obviously need more donors and volunteers to make this happen.

In order to expand our efforts we need volunteers to pick up pizza at Pizza West during the day and make deliveries to our 3 non profit food distribution agency’s to free us up to locate more donors and agency’s.
