Mohawk Trail Regional School District Explorers Program

About our program...

The Mohawk Trail Regional School District offers a district-wide after school program for its four elementary schools (Buckland-Shelburne Elementary, Colrain Central, Sanderson Academy, and Hawlemont Elementary). Students Grades 3-6 are bused daily from each elementary school to Mohawk Trail Regional School. After care is available each school day, including early release and half days (the program does not operate during holidays, vacations, or snow days). The program is open from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. Parent pick-up is at the program’s location at Mohawk Trail Regional School.

The MTRS District also will offer an Enrichment Program, slated to run for part of the school year (starting in October and ending in May). Enrichment programs will contain 4 Sessions, which will offer a range of classes held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Students participating in the Enrichment Program are also bused daily from their elementary schools to the Mohawk Trail Regional School. Like the After Care Program, Enrichment classes are held the same day each week, from 4:30 p.m to 5:30 p.m. for 6 weeks. After care and snacks are provided as part of the Enrichment Program.
