Common Ground Cafe

Our Story

We’re often asked what is Common Ground Cafe. To put it simply, we are a non-pofit cafe that focuses on community, strengthening the economy and providing nourishing meals to anyone regards of means to pay. This concept began in 2003 by Denise Cerreta of One World Everybody Eats. Our restaurant is unique because we allow our customers to set the price for their locally grown nutritious meals. (We will have a suggested price) Payment options include contribute the suggested donation amount; volunteer in exchange for a meal; or pay more than the suggested donation, in order to “pay it forward” for others less fortunate.

Currently, we are only conducting pop-up events and our goal is to have a permanent location by 2020.
