🌟 Kicking off this Friday with an Employee Spotlight: Corinne Camacho 🌟
Meet Corinne, our dedicated Family Advocate with the LYNC Program at Connecticut Renaissance!
For the past 3 years, Corinne has worked alongside youth and families involved with probation and the juvenile justice system. She connects families with resources, provides advocacy and support, and collaborates with probation officers and community partners to help young people build on their strengths and achieve positive outcomes at home, in school, and in their communities.
💬 Proudest Moment at CTR:
“One client came into my office convinced he didn’t need probation and was difficult to engage. By staying consistent, being transparent, and building trust over time, I watched him gradually open up. By our final session, he admitted the LYNC program wasn’t as bad as he had expected. Seeing that transformation reminded me why this work matters.”
💬 What She Enjoys Most:
“Working with adolescents is incredibly meaningful because I have the opportunity to make a positive impact during such an important stage of their lives. I strive to meet youth where they are, focus on their strengths, and create a space where they feel seen, heard, and understood.”
When she’s not at work, Corinne enjoys gardening 🌿, thrift shopping 🛍️, spending quality time with her family, and binge-watching suspenseful TV shows filled with mystery and unexpected twists. 📺
Thank you, Corinne, for your compassion, dedication, and the positive difference you make in the lives of the youth and families you serve. We are grateful to have you on the CTR team! 💜
