We're at the Celebrate Shepherd Event out by the library enjoying live musical entertainment courtesy of Billy Culberth and Gary Lucky. So far it's been mostly old country which I think fits Shepherd well! The book that's being promoter, Over the River and through Woods: A Glimpse of Our Past 2nd Edition, is for sale for $15 today and $20 if you buy after today. The fire department is selling raffle tickets for a "hunter's basket." The fun will be going on until 3:00 p.m., and the weather is just perfect for these outdoor activities!

The Celebrate Shepherd Event is finally here! It's from 11-3 today and everyone is invited to come hang out. There will be live music, a few speakers, and a variety of vendors. Hope to see you there learning about the history of and celebrating our community!
