Proverbs 17:3 NIV‬

Being a Christian is not easy, anyone who's tried to walk out faith in Christ knows this. A very large part of being a Christian is our heart posture. ‭Proverbs 4:23 says this, "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." God will test us, and our heart posture, to see if we're ready for the next step in our journey. We all want God to use us boldly, but only God knows if we're truly ready for the next step. Our journey with Christ will encounter setbacks, as the devil will come at us even harder once we've decided to live out and spread the gospel. Don't be surprised when hardships comes, or that God allows it to happen. This is all part of our sanctification that He will use to further our journey with Him.
