DOE’s EnergyTech University Prize Business Plan Competition Offers $370K to Students — WY Ranch 12/06/2022

The WY Ranch is a proud partner of the 2023 U.S. Department of Energy's EnergyTech UP collegiate business plan competition!

EnergyTech UP challenges multidisciplinary student teams to develop and present a business plan that leverages National Laboratory-developed or other high-potential energy technologies.

Prize administrators are holding an informational webinar Dec. 6 at 3 p.m. ET. to share details about the $370,000 available to students, inspire ideas around energy technologies that teams can use to develop their plans, and answer questions from potential participants.

WY Ranch is the Mountain West convener for students in Wyoming, Colorado, Montana, and Utah. If you or a student you know would be a good fit for EnergyTech UP, encourage them to register a team by Jan. 26 to compete in 2023!

Wyoming, Colorado, and other Rocky Mountain region Energy Hardtech and Climate Tech Startups...

The 2023 REACH Energy Accelerator through Innosphere Ventures, the Colorado Energy Research Collaboratory, and the Energy Institute at Colorado State University is accepting applications until November 18!

The WY Ranch is proud to be a referring institution for this AWESOME year-long program funded by the U.S. Department of Energy. REACH works alongside multiple University and DOE partners in the 14-state Rocky Mountain and Great Plains region.

The program provides hardtech-based consulting, prototyping, testing, technoeconomic analysis support, market research, and other business support services to startup companies located throughout mid-America. You'll be working with organizations that understand R&D-intensive industries, and how to address the unique challenges of startups.

Accepted founders receive 12 months of support at NO cost! The application deadline is Friday, November 18 and selected teams will be notified by December 16th.

If you've made it this far... I cannot stress the importance of this program enough. This is world-class support from prestigious institutions with support provided by the DOE. If you're looking to really take your energy hardtech or climate tech company to the next level, please apply ASAP.
