🔹 The airline was the launch customer for several key aircraft, including the Boeing 727 and the Airbus A300, leading the way in adopting new aviation technology.

🔹 After decades of success, the airline was ultimately grounded in 1991 following a period of intense labor disputes, a crippling strike, and mounting financial issues.
