In late 2025, governors in states like Texas and Oklahoma (and Florida) announced initiatives to place a Club America chapter in every high school.
TPUSA’s “Professor Watchlist” (and similar K-12 monitoring) encourages students to film and report teachers, stifling academic freedom.
Unlike a typical chess or art club, Club America chapters are backed by millions in funding from TPUSA and supported by dozens of full-time “Field Representatives” who provide kits, professional marketing, and legal backing.
Club America meetings have featured speakers who openly challenge LGBTQ+ rights, leading to student-led boycotts and protests from parents who feel the clubs promote “intolerance under the guise of religion.”
