The kids are back in school 🙌🏻. Are you back at work but wishing you were back in bed? Hm, working from bed could be the perfect compromise for my client who just had a bedroom makeover!

Not only can refreshing your space make you feel more cozy and content, but in this case rethinking your floor plan can improve the way your room functions and fits your needs.

Here we moved the bed to a different wall which created space for a wardrobe which gave the client more clothing storage 👔. Shoes on the floor got a new home in the wicker storage bench 👟.

We kept the same wall color and just tied in the new accessories to that soft seafoam color for a fresh coastal feel.

I had the pleasure of designing this room for Lily Stolzberg of News 12! It was so exciting to see all the details come together just as I had envisioned. We worked together to make sure each choice would reflect her polished modern-boho aesthetic. Totally love how Lily and her husband implemented each of my recommendations to a T (with some help from painter Alex Mora and Scott Cassidy of SGM Wallcovering & Painting.) Shout-out to John at Heritage Paint RP for having the best assortment of wallpaper and paints to choose from too. Such a transformation from an outgrown playroom to a swanky/cozy lounge.🍸

Still basking in the post-holiday glow but appreciating the clean-slate feel of the new year. Wishing you all a fresh start of positive changes - for you and your abode ✌🏼🥂❄️
