| World Bipolar Day |

Today is World Bipolar Day. Today is a day when people across the globe attempt to spread awareness regarding the implications pertaining to a bipolar-disorder type-I or type -II diagnosis. I, Sanders Maurice Foulke III, AAS (Sandy Foulke) have a bipolar-disorder diagnosis & am fully cognizant of the stigma faced as well as the challenges posed in grappling with such a diagnosis. Certainly, I am not alone & none of us struggling with this diagnosis are; therefore, I am urging you to educate yourselves on what it means to be one of those individuals. —Compassion, empathy, & transparency regarding matters such as these facilitate healing. Ever onward, ever higher.

World Bipolar Day is not only about awareness—it is about acknowledging the strength of those who live with bipolar disorder every day.

Bipolar disorder is a mental health condition characterized by significant shifts in mood, energy, and activity levels, ranging from emotional highs (mania or hypomania) to deep lows (depression). These changes are more than just mood swings—they can affect daily life, relationships, and overall well-being.

The highs can feel overwhelming, and the lows can feel isolating, but through it all, there is resilience.

Let us take this day to educate ourselves, to challenge stereotypes, and to become more mindful of how we treat and speak to others. Sometimes, the most meaningful support we can offer is simply being present and understanding.

To those who are struggling—you are seen, you are valued, and you are never alone. 💚
