Compact Car Seats For Small Cars
Have limited front-to-back room in your back seat but need a rear facing car seat? Don’t worry! You have options.
All of these seats are good options for families with tall front seat passengers or smaller back seats.
One caveat for the All4Stages Slim+: While it’s very compact when your child is over 22lbs, it’s not as compact for kids under 22lbs.
Rigid LATCH Wiggle Is Normal!
If your baseless infant car seat with rigid LATCH “wiggles” after you install it - that’s okay!
The lower anchor connectors may move along the lower anchor bars in your vehicle. That movement is normal and not a safety concern.
As long as they are properly connected (listen for the click and look for indicators), then your car seat is installed properly and safe to use!
