The progress in this group lately has been so good. Dogs starting calmer. Owners handling with more clarity and confidence. More check-ins, less tension, better decisions all around. The world feels heavy lately. Between the constant stream of heartbreaking news and the very real injustices unfolding around us — including what we’re seeing with ICE and the harm being done to families and communities — it can feel overwhelming to hold it all.

I believe it’s more important than ever to stay grounded, to stay human, and to stay connected to each other. I’m doing my best to stand strong, to speak with intention, and to fight the good fight in the ways I can, even when it’s uncomfortable. I won’t look away from what’s wrong, and I won’t stay silent about injustice.
