🌈 Celebrate PRIDE Month and Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month with us at Shoreline College, and show your support for our LGBTQIA+ community this PRIDE season!
Join us for an inspiring evening with Kausar Mohammed; actress, comedian, and cultural storyteller, for To Laugh or Cry: Comedy as a Tool for Hope. Together, we'll explore how comedy can be a powerful tool for resistance, resilience, liberation, and connection across cultures and communities.
Hosted by the Office of yəhaw̓ and the American Ethnic Studies Department, the event will also feature exclusive clips and a screening of The Syed Family Xmas Eve Game Night.

Join us this Thursday as we kick off a month of lectures celebrating America at 250. As our nation approaches it's 250th anniversay, this lecture series invites our community to reflect on the evolving meaning on American democracy, past, present and future. This week's lecture features Indigenous storyteller Fern Naomi Renville as she reveals how the Haudenosaunee Great Law of Peace shaped Benjamin Franklin's political thinking-and how the Constitution drew from this centuries-old alliance.
