The Quilt Barn

I thought about cleaning my sewing room and then got distracted by some UFOs! 🤣 The "bag" is a 38x47" tote to hold windows from my daughter's boat and it's a prototype before I do the big ones! 😳

The quilt will be used for Hospice veterans. It was a mystery quilt created by Prairie Point quilt shop in Missouri. It was always fun to go with my friends Billie and Katharine to pick up our new blocks. Wish there was something like that here in AZ. 🤗

And yes, my sewing room still isn't cleaned. 🤣

Sometimes a memory quilt can be favorite colors and things remembered, like beaches and flowers. This quilt is an example - Michigan, by Laundry Basket Quilts, in coral and sea colors, with an edge to edge design of paisley flowers will help an old friend feel the hug of her daughter who passed far too early.
