I always pride myself on honest reviews and sometimes that means that I personally dislike a product and need to tell you why. I want to start this off by saying that I was genuinely excited to try this product and I typically love cream cheek and lip products. I also really have come to love Smashbox over the years but this product was a miss for me.

Firstly, when I think of Smashbox I think of high end makeup. The component of this product felt a little cheap and generic and the applicator made blush application a little awkward. However, I love the formula as a blush. It’s really nice and buildable and creates a nice natural blush look. But on the flip side, as a lip color, it was very drying. Maybe it was the shade I was sent but it really wasn’t terribly flattering on my lips. Overall I’d say it’s a good blush but not a great lip product and I wish the packaging was a little bit more luxe feeling. Have you tried this for yourself yet? What did you think?
