Someone sent us a message asking what in the world is a 38 Super bullet. Well here it is folks, the 38 Super shares some characteristics with a 9mm (left) bullet. The 9mm boasts a 0.355” projectile while the 38 Super (right) is 0.356”. The 38 Super has a longer case than 9mm (.895" vs .754"). This extra case length means extra case capacity, allowing for more powder to be put into the case, which in turn allows for a higher muzzle velocity! Think of it as a 9mm on steroids!
