Today, on World Hunger Day, we are sharing a joyful story from Riimenze, where young children are learning early lessons about care, growth, and the gift of the land.

At the Catholic Health Training Institute (CHTI), students are preparing for lives of leadership and service across South Sudan.

Recently, more than 56 students stepped into new leadership roles through the school’s student guild, helping oversee daily student life, organize activities, and support fellow classmates while continuing their healthcare studies.

These experiences are helping shape future nurses and midwives who will serve their communities with compassion, professionalism, and integrity.

At the Solidarity Teacher Training College (STTC), education extends far beyond the classroom.

From Easter celebrations centered on faith and community to national conversations on strengthening teacher education in South Sudan, students and faculty continue shaping a hopeful future through learning, leadership, and service.
