We have been given the sad words that yesterday evening, July 8, at around 10:39 PM a member of our riding family was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident. Austin was a skilled motorcyclist and was also known to perform mechanical work. Austin rode a Suzuki GSX 1300 that was unmistakable in its appearance of phantom red. Just an hour before his accident we were sitting at a large table together at Bare Bones restaurant with many other motorcyclists, laughing and enjoying good conversation. He was telling me that he was going to plan another meetup / open house at his garage shop. He will be missed by many and we wish for his soul to have a peaceful journey onward.
