CREATE Arts Center
Founded in October of 1986, our mission is to spark creativity, foster learning, empower individuals
From Rick LaRue’s exhibition, Carved by the Water’s Edge: What Do You See?, comes “Cocheta,” a striking driftwood piece with beautifully intricate grain details.
“Cocheta” is a Native American word meaning “that which cannot be fathomed.” Rick shares more about the name, its meaning, and the story behind how this piece came to life.
Experience “Cocheta” and Rick’s full collection in person at the Tamar Hendel Gallery, on view now through June 6. Visit Rick’s website chesapeakedriftstudio.com to learn more.
