Recovery time varies from patient to patient, but most people can leave their house the day following the procedure. You can resume work from home within a few days and should plan to be back at an office job within two weeks.
If you have a job that requires lifting or lots of standing, you may need three to six weeks off for a full recovery. Exercise is limited for a few months.
