Support Our Aging Religious

As we prepare to celebrate our 40th Anniversary on August 21, we invite you to join us for 40 Days of Prayer. 🙏

Each day, we'll share a prayer from an aging Catholic Sister, Brother, or Priest. Lovingly collected over the years, some prayers were written by religious, while others are prayers that have inspired them throughout their lives.

We hope these daily moments of prayer bring you peace and remind you of the enduring wisdom and witness of aging religious.

On Day 1, we share a prayer for hope, from Sister Mary Ellen Green, OP of the Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters:
"Gracious God, in these days of war and violence we search for hope. Help us to see the sometimes tiny blades of hope in our world that spring up simply and quietly like blades of grass in springtime. As we search within and around us give us the grace to recognize:
acts of generosity
smiles and laughter
works of justice
dreams of peace
Bless us in our journey of faith and keep us close to you. "
