Tuesday was an exciting night for progressives in Maryland and around the country. We had great wins - Ben Jealous! Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez (in NY)!! We defeated three Mike Miller backed State Senators. In the delegate races, we're seeing likely wins by great first-time candidates Samir Paul, Vaughn Stewart, and Gabriel Acevero. And . . . Marc Elrich leads the WaPo-backed pharmaceutical millionaire.
There's lots more to be done of course. Our incredible MoCo County Council endorsees will fight another day and Trone's total trunk of cash proved a hill too high to scale this go-round. But we're definitely speeding along in the right (or should I say left) direction.
On to November!
