With the continued rise of both counterfeit and knock off supplies this bears repeating. Angry Monkey Medical only purchases Hemostatics, Torniquets and Chest Seals from Authorized Distributors. Every Hyfin Vent and CAT TQ is purchased directly from North American Rescue. Every Chito Gauze XR Pro and TMT is purchased directly from Safeguard Medical. We actively check expiration dates and seals as well as store these critical supplies in environmentally controlled areas.

North American Rescue sent out an email this morning which points to the severity of the problem. Attached below is an Orange notice dating back to 2018, and the problem has only gotten worse since then.

When you purchase your knock off or counterfeit TQ's, chances of failure increase. If you purchase off brand chest seals, your adhesives may fail. The risk is never worth the cost savings, especially with time-critical life saving supplies.

And with that we are out of TQ's and Celox again. Any orders placed this week will be delayed while we attempt to resolve the backorder issues. Thank you for your understanding.
