Two little lives just changed forever.
Cosmo and Stella are now safe, but their journey is only just beginning.

As with many rescue intakes, they’ll need full medical evaluations, ongoing care, and support while we learn exactly what they need to heal and thrive. Every vet visit, test, and treatment adds up, and that’s where our village comes in.

Today is Giving Tuesday… and it just so happens to be my birthday. TODAY ONLY: Every donation will be MATCHED up to $5,000 Doubling the impact for the animals who need us most.
And honestly, there is nothing I want more than to raise money for the injured, abused, and neglected animals who need us most.

Giving Tuesday and my Birthday fundraiser is our big annual fundraiser push to rally our community together so we can continue to rescue more animals in 2026!

In the last five years, we’ve saved 200+ of the worst medical cases. The ones most people would walk away from, the ones whose stories break you before they ever heal. The vet bills are overwhelming. The cases are gut-wrenching. But we keep going… because they deserve someone who won’t give up on them.

It truly takes a village, and I am endlessly grateful for ours, our volunteers, fosters, veterinary teams, and every donor who believes in this mission. You are the reason we can keep doing this. You are the reason Bentley’s legacy is so much more than a memory.

Some days this work breaks me open all over again.
But every life saved reminds me why I started… and why I’ll never stop.

Meet Chuck 🐾💙 Our Miracle from South LA Shelter

This morning, with only MINUTSE to spare,(6 minutes to be exact) we pulled Chuck off the euthanasia list at the South LA shelter after only being at the shelter for less than 2 weeks he was given no time to even decompress.

Chuck was brought into the south La shelter when she found him in the rain under a tarp. His angel worked tirelessly the past 2 weeks to find him a foster but we had no luck. Chuck was overlooked again and again, and time had finally run out. But thanks to the quick action of our rescue team and the support of this amazing community, he’s getting a second chance at life.

Chuck is safe now!💙
