These are the elements of yoga I return to again and again, as reminders, as tools for coming back to myself.
Some of these I feel more strength in… others I still struggle with often.
Letting go of external approval? A daily practice.
Surrendering to the flow of life? Still working on it.
Showing up with compassion and presence? That’s where I begin.
Yoga isn’t just movement. It’s also a way of living.
And for me, it’s not about being perfect at any of it. It’s more about being willing to keep showing up. With honesty, softness, and grace. 🧘♀️❤️
Which of these speaks to you today?

One of my favorites-Supported Fish 🐟
Opens chest/lungs
Improves posture
Stimulates Thyroid glands
Strengthens upper back/neck
Enhances spinal flexibility
Improves digestive function
Reduces stress/anxiety
Helps menstrual discomfort
Restorative yoga offers a powerful counterbalance to stress. This deeply calming, therapeutic practice activates the parasympathetic nervous system; the part of the body that supports rest, recovery, and digestion.

It's Friday! You deserve a laugh......ENJOY! 😁
Some days, my energy feels scattered, like I’m being pulled in five different directions and none of them feel good.
When that happens, I’ve learned to pause and come back to the things that help me feel grounded and clear again.
These 5 practices have become little anchors for me; ways to reset without needing to fix or figure anything out. Small moments of care that remind me I can come back to myself.
If you’ve been feeling off lately, maybe one of them will help you too.

It’s been a slower season.
Not necessarily hiding, just pulling inward; kind of like this little snail. 🐌
Trying to listen more. Be more present with what I’m feeling, not just push through it.
I’ve been learning what it means to feel safe in my own body.
To rest without guilt.
To stop performing and just be.
Some days it’s messy.
Some days it feels like progress.
But I keep coming back… and little by little, it feels more like home in here. 🌱
What makes you feel like home within yourself?

What is Yin? 🌿
It’s not a workout.
It’s a softening.
A practice of slowing down, turning inward, and meeting yourself exactly as you are.
In Yin Yoga, we hold postures for longer; not to stretch further, but to go deeper… beyond the muscles, into the connective tissues, into the stillness we often avoid.
It’s quiet work.
Uncomfortable at times.
But also deeply nourishing.
You may feel emotions rise.
You may notice where you resist.
You may also find a sense of peace you didn’t know you were craving.
Yin gives your body space to release,
your mind permission to rest,
and your nervous system the signal that it’s safe to let go.
No fancy shapes.
No need to “do it right.”
Just presence, breath, and a willingness to listen.
If you’re tired, tight, overwhelmed, or just need a softer place to land; Yin might be exactly what you need. 🧘♀️

Our body doesn’t ask for much ~ just that you listen.
Not when it’s already overwhelmed or in pain…
But when it first begins to whisper.
A little tightness.
A shallow breath.
That heaviness in your chest that says slow down, even if your mind says push through.
I’ve ignored those whispers before.
I’ve waited until the exhaustion, the tension, the tears ...... when the message finally came through like a scream.
Now I’m learning to listen sooner.
To pause before I’m forced to.
To rest when I need to.
To breathe when everything feels like too much.
Child’s pose isn’t just a shape;
it’s a way of coming home to myself and boy does it feel good. 🌾
