On April 26 at 12:30 p.m. the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (MWD) Board of Directors will be holding a public meeting on the declaration of a water shortage emergency condition. This hearing is an opportunity for LVMWD customers to express their thoughts and concerns regarding possible drought measures MWD may take that will impact LVMWD as a member agency. These measures may include one day a week watering or even a total outdoor prohibition on watering and financial penalties to the District if our total water use exceeds the health and safety allocations. Customers can participate via Zoom by visiting https://mwdh2o.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx

Please visit www.LVMWD.com/DroughtResponse for information on LVMWD's drought response, current outdoor water use reductions and District programs to help customers reduce their water use.
