امسال، سال عجیبی‌ست
امسال، برای اولین‌بار در زندگی‌ام
دوباره سبزه کاشتم

آره، می‌دونم رسم مون نیست
اما امسال، روز هشتم فروردین ۱۴۰۵
من دوباره سبزه کاشتم

شاید برای اینکه به خودم بگویم
مهم نیست که سبز ها خراب شدن
و دو روز مونده به نوروز
زرد شدند و پژمردن

مهم این است که باشی
و مهم این است که بمانی

و امید داشته باشی به طبیعت
و ایمان داشته باشی
که این کابوس هم
بالاخره تمام می‌شود

امسال سال عجیبی است 🍃🤍🕊️
This year is a strange one.
This year, for the first time in my life,
I planted sabzeh again.

it’s not our tradition to plant Sabze in the middle of Nowruz
But this year, on the eight of Farvardin, 1405,
I planted sabzeh again.

Maybe to remind myself
that it’s okay not to grow every time,
that it’s okay if your sabzeh
turns yellow and withers
before it ever reaches Nowruz.

What matters is to be,
and what matters is to stay.

To hold on to hope in nature,
and to trust
that this nightmare, too,
will come to an end.

This year,
I planted sabzeh again 🍃🤍

In Iranian culture, whenever something good happens — whether small or life-changing — we say:

“Dahaneton ro shirin konid.”
Make your mouth sweet.

And we bring out shirini, sweets in Persian.

Because sweetness is how we celebrate.
Sweetness is how we mark a new beginning.
Sweetness is how we bless what comes next.

Today, I feel that same energy.

A gentle hope, growing in our hearts — like wheat slowly germinating for samanu.

So wherever you are, I send you sweetness.

May what is growing be full of light 🕊️🍃🤍


دهانتان را شیرین کنید.

چون شیرینی زبانِ شادی ماست
شیرینی رسمِ آغازهای تازه‌ی ماست
شیرینی دعایی‌ست برای آنچه قرار است از راه برسد

امروز حال‌وهوای عجیبی داریم
امیدی در دل‌هامون جوانه زده — مثل گندمی که برای سمنو سبز میکنی.

روزهاتون شیرین تا مزه شیرین آزادی رو با بچشیم.
