:: A Prayer from the Wilderness

God, I'm here.
Waiting on you.
Expectant for you.
Eager to see you move.

You've met many great men in this same place. You proved yourself true to Moses in the wilderness. You molded & shaped David alone in the valley. You allowed your precious son, Jesus, to enter the desert.

They must've have felt these feelings.
Uncertainty. Fear. Isolation.

But God, I know what your word says is true. I don't just know it, I believe it. I receive it.

You're a deliverer.
You're a redeemer.

So even when these circumstances aren't good, I can trust that your purpose is. Because you are good & in all things I praise you, Amen.

Choose Forgiveness - Choose forgiveness. Maybe when you read those words a name comes to mind. Someone that’s hurt you, or perhaps someone you’ve hurt. How many times have you replayed that conversation? Dwelling on what was said… or what wasn’t? It’s our nature to hold tight to these transgressions, but Jesus gives us…

Dear God, you're big. You're mighty. You're powerful. And you're my Father. I know you see me. I know you hear my heart cry. So I'll wait for you... Right here. I'll be here. I'll wait for you to move. Because I know you will. So I'm resting in nothing but you tonight, Jesus. Amen.
