The Source pleads with us to lay down our load.

We tend to hold ourselves responsible for so much of what is unwinding around us.

The way that we take on the weight is very broken and it has been for some time.

It has been this way since the beginning.

Perhaps, in the nest, there had to be someone to blame for all that wasn't in order, and whether that was us or another, we were conditioned to lay accountability wherever it fell.

It could have been the weakest in the family, the once most likely to be disruptive, or the person who lacked the wise logical explanation, but time wasn't moving forward until someone was found guilty.

Shame was displaced continuously from the weather to work to the noise level, our grades to the amount of housework accomplished, something or someone always had a finger pointed at it.

As a result, today, we hold ourselves to somewhat impossible standards and are most hard internally when the pieces of life don't easily come together.

Yet, we are doing our best to hold it together as we navigate the frontier of transformation.

This balance between what was, what is, and what is coming is exciting and scary all at once.

We need to heal the part of us that looks continuously for deficiencies within.

We must model our divine relationship of overflowing unconditional love and mercy to ourselves.

We are called to love ourselves a little extra right now. We are balancing so much, handling things no one sees, and doing our best.

We are called to give ourselves grace.

We are worthy of unmerited freely given heavenly favor.
