It was a joy for me today to be at Ave Maria Parish in Parker, Colorado. My great nephew, Knox, received his first holy Communion. I was able to celebrate the Mass and share some special time with my brother and his family.

Once again I had the chance to take Bishop Keehner’s place as the celebrant at our jubilee Mass for priests this afternoon at St. Mary’s, Storm Lake. Congratulations to Fr. Al Reicks (50 years) and Fr. John Thomas (60 years) of priesthood.
