RETIREMENT is something we all look forward to in life.
And, beginning today, I am OFFICIALLY retiring my business Cindy’s Almost Famous Roux
I decided a few months ago that this would be my last year and I had hoped to get through the winter season.
But a nagging shoulder issue has been preventing me from “stirring the pot”. And you all know that, since day 1, I have stirred every pot of roux that has been packaged and sold.
It’s been the absolute BEST 4 years for me. I never imagined that sharing my passion with everyone would grow into such a successful business. I know that my dad, Buzzy Maraist, is proud of what we accomplished and I know that he watched over me from Heaven and had his hand on mine every time I cooked.
A HUGE thank you to all of my family, friends, loyal customers across the country AND all of the retail stores who took a chance on me and my product.
