Today, Slidell Regional Police Academy Class #66 took a break from their defensive tactics training to wish Slidell Police K-9 Archie happy birthday! We think it’s safe to say K-9 Archie had a very good birthday!

Slidell Regional Police Academy Class #66 started their training a little different this morning ☀️! This is the first academy class to ever train in the water🏊! Thank you to Cross Gates Family Fitness, for allowing us to use their Gause location facility, to do aquatic training! Training in the water allows our cadets to enhance their strength 💪 and endurance 🏃, which are two of the most important attributes a police officer can have! 🚔
