Farm-to-table is great… but have you ever experienced water-to-table? 🎣🍽️

This past weekend, Perry looked at me and said, “Let me go catch us dinner… I’ll be right back.”

I smiled, thinking he’d be gone for a while, but sure enough, he came back with a beautiful redfish! 🐟

Instead of filleting it, he left the scales on one side and grilled it that way. The scales acted as a natural barrier, keeping the fish incredibly moist while adding amazing flavor. We paired it with a garlic butter pasta, and it turned out absolutely delicious!

There’s something incredibly rewarding about eating a meal that was swimming just hours before. Living on the water comes with so many little perks, and being able to enjoy a fresh catch for dinner is definitely one of my favorites.
