🥎 DAY 2 GAME 2: ANOTHER BIG WIN! 🩷

Our Sandlot girls stayed hot today, taking down the SETX Ladycats 9-2! 🔥

💥 Layla was unstoppable at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with a double and 2 RBIs!

The bats came alive early as Brenna , Emma L, and Layla helped put up 5 runs in the first inning, and Emma J and Mayci kept the momentum rolling with RBI singles in the second!

This was truly a team win! We racked up 22 hits, with big performances from Hali, Layla, Brenna, Maggie, Raegan, Emma, Mayci, and Bella. Every inning someone stepped up, and that’s what Sandlot softball is all about. 🩵🩷

Now it’s time to rest up because we’re back at it tonight at 7:50 PM! Let’s keep this momentum rolling and finish strong! 💪🥎

Our girls exploded for 27 hits on the way to an 18-9 victory over Bombers 7U! Every inning was a battle, but these girls kept answering with clutch hits and never let up. 🩵🩷

⭐️ Shoutout to Hali W for an incredible day at the plate, going 3-for-3 with 2 doubles and a single!

Offensively, this was truly a team effort:
💥 Multiple-hit games from Maggie, Layla, Brenna, Grace, Bella, Emma, Hali, Raegan, and Marielle!
💪 Maggie came through with a huge 2-RBI triple, Grace added 2 RBIs, and the lineup stayed hot from top to bottom.

Brenna was a wall in the field making 7 defensive plays! 👏

We’re proud of the fight, the teamwork, and the way these girls kept their energy high from the first pitch to the last.

What a day for our Sandlot girls!

Game 1 didn’t end the way we wanted, falling 12-11 to Alabama Knights in a hard-fought battle. After battling back to take the lead, our girls never quit and kept fighting until the final out.

They turned right around and answered with a huge 11-10 WIN over Texas Synergy! 💪

🔥 Day 1 Highlights:
🥎 38 total hits in two games
💥 Emma launched a home run.
💪 Brenna had a monster day at the plate, driving in 7 RBIs across both games and one awesome home run.
🩵Multiple-hit games from Emma, Brenna, Hali, Marielle, Grace, Bella, and Maggie.

These girls continue to show heart, grit, and what it means to wear Sandlot across their chest. We couldn’t be more proud of the way they compete for each other.

Tomorrow morning, we’re back at it for bracket play. Let’s keep the energy rolling!

Having spent 2 days getting settled and enjoying the beach, Pool Play kicks off today! Follow the competition on Game Changer and help us cheer for these girls! They have put in a tremendous amount of hard work the last few months for this!

Our Sandlot girls are officially Gulf Shores bound! From countless practices to unforgettable memories, these girls have worked so hard for this opportunity. Now it’s time to hit the beach, play the game they love, and represent our Sandlot family.

This trip is extra special because, for many of these girls, it will be the last time they’ll get to take the field together as this team. While it’s bittersweet knowing this chapter is coming to an end, we’re so thankful for every laugh, every lesson, every win, every loss, and every memory they’ve made together. The friendships they’ve built and the bond they share will last a lifetime. 🩵🩷
