Riverwalk Contracting Group is thrilled to welcome Tony Brezo to our company! Tony spent the past four years in the Army and was an E-5 Sergeant when he finished his assignment stationed in Vicenza, Italy. His dream is to one day own and run his own residential remodeling company. He is exceptionally bright, extremely hardworking and driven, thrives in a fast passed environment, and finds purpose in having responsibility. The career potential for this young man is endless. We are very excited to train and teach him over the next year into a lead crew position here at Riverwalk. Welcome to the Riverwalk family, Tony and thank you for your service! 🇺🇸

Yesterday Dominic and Niki received the deepest honor to pay their final respects and lay to eternal rest an amazing husband, father, grandfather, friend, and craftsman. The day had such a profound impact on our hearts and we will forever be grateful to Billy’s family to be invited to celebrate with them the life of a man we so dearly loved. The warmth and gracious welcoming we received from their community to mourn Billy and to support his beautiful wife and wonderful children was truly humbling and just another reminder as to why we have such a deep appreciation and love for this man and his family.

William Bender Jr., 50, died early Thursday morning, Nov. 24, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born April 8, 1972, in Chardon, to William N. and Betty Ann Detweiler Bender.
He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and Bishop of the Bristolville West Church District. He leaves behind his wife, Lynda; children, William III, Michael, Noah, Amy, Phillip, and Julie; four grandchildren; his parents; three brothers; and three sisters.

Billy was not only a master craftsman, but a man with a devote faith in God and with the deepest love for his family and community. He inspired you to always want to be your best self…at home and at work. Billy and his two boys, Micheal and Phillip were like a fine oiled machine when they were building. The love and support they had for each other and their craft came through in each project they touched. There was nothing this man and his two boys could not build or accomplish together. It was truly a pleasure and an honor to work along side of him these past years, but more importantly just to know him. We have no doubt he will be building grand castles in heaven to honor God.

“We will work together again someday, dear friend. Rest peacefully.”
