In the last week, I have had two people (who don’t know each other) ask me if I’ve lost weight and how I did it.. and I’m going to tell you. No GLP 1 use and no crazy intense exercise plans. Just…. BEANS 🫘
Legitimately that’s all I have incorporated into my daily routine, that and extra water because upping my fiber has made me crave water. Crazy, right?
So I wanted to share two meals I’ve had on repeat lately:
Greek chickpea salad:
-1 c chickpeas
-1 tomato
-2 slices organic turkey meat
-1/4 c pumpkin seeds
-Olives
-Pepperoncini slices
-Dressing: Olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, oregano and Dijon mustard. I eyeball everything.
Black bean and beef sweet potato:
-1/2 sweet potato cut down the middle and baked in the oven on parchment paper (I spray with tallow so it doesn’t stick) and bake for about 40 min on 425
-Add 1 serving ground beef and 1/2 c black beans
Both recipes are perfect for meal prepping!

I would be doing everyone a disservice by not telling you about my friend’s non toxic beauty and skin line. Brazen Botanicals is one of the most talented people I know. God has truly blessed her with a talent in this field. Her scents are truly out of this world. Her sourdough is the best. Her baked goods are unlike anything else. Her products are worth the hype!

Too good not to share!
Posted this to TikTok yesterday and I’ll share my SIL’s opinion of the Rowe Casa Organics swim spray in the comments, along with a link. I think we’re both a fan! I noticed Vivienne’s hair yesterday was so silky soft and so was mine. We just found our new summer staple!
Is there anything better than a coffee + Tj Maxx run? I think not, actually.

A meal I’ve been making as of late is what I’m going to have to call sushi squares. Cute, right? I have an abundance of seaweed snacks right now so rather than rolling out the nori, I’m just throwing it together on a seaweed snack and calling it a day. It’s so good, here’s how you make it:
You’ll need:
- 1 cooked salmon filet
- 1/2 c cooked rice (or a little less depending on preferences)
- 1 tbsp mayo
- 1 tbsp coconut aminos or soy sauce
Mix all together in a bowl, then scoop out the mixture and spread on a seaweed snack and repeat til they’re covered. Then you can top with whatever you like, I personally love avocado and jalapeño.

Shared in stories but wanted to share to my feed too! I make this every summer as it’s the perfect throw in a bowl and go, light and fresh meal.
The best part of this meal is how customizable it is. You can essentially add any bean and vegetable you like. You can also add shredded chicken if you want for a little extra protein, but I think it’s perfect as is.
I used:
🫘 1 can black beans
🫘 1 can black eyed peas
🫑 2 bell peppers
🥑 2 avocados
🌱 big bunch of cilantro
🌶️ pickled jalapeños
Dressing: 1/3 c olive oil, 1 tbsp honey, juice of 1 lime, garlic, salt and pepper to taste.
I love to use siete lime tortilla chips to dip, but you can use whatever you want!
